Opportunities for Prayer Apr.
2008
Bob & Lola Ruth Clark - On our recent trip to Kansas, it was a joy to meet with 8 of our former campers - some men and women in their 50’s and 60’s. Many scheduled activities are being planned for this month. Please pray that God will give stamina and wisdom to our staff and that He will be glorified in all events. Lydia Erb - Praise the Lord that we can look forward to having a resurrected body some day. Pray that I will have wisdom in making plans for DVBS and helping at Bible Camp this coming summer. Lancey & Mary Hudson - “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.” Psa. 34:15. Praise and thanks for the young people He put in our way. Pray for the preparation and work in the Bible Memory Club. Pray for His wisdom and leading in getting the lessons ready for DVBS and for many to be saved. Thanks for your prayers! Juan & Emily Kononovas - Praise the Lord for the safe arrival of Hannah Elizabeth March 16 at 11:53 p.m. She weighed 6 # 1 1/2 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. Pray for wisdom as they seek to raise Hannah to honor the Lord and for the adjustment of having a baby in the house. Tim and Melissa Kornbau - We praise the Lord that we have seen an increase in our average monthly support each year since we were married in 2001. We are so thankful for the 4 churches and many individuals who support us so that we can serve here in Missouri! Please pray that the Lord will continue to meet our needs as we are currently receiving about 70% of our needed support. Pray that we will be faithful in our serving and in raising our boys. Dustin & Melanie Millsap - We praise the Lord for all those who have supported us financially over the past year. Pray for our final BIM-JRNE of this season in the Kansas City area. Pray for Melanie and the kids as they finish up school for the year and for Dustin as he prepares for the camp summer. Pray for those who have signed up to be staff this summer. Jay & Rose Penner - We praise the Lord for a good start in the spring and summer activities. As evidence of new life is showing up around us, we look forward to growth and new life in the spiritual lives of those we minister to. Pray with us as we have Work Week this month and also some retreats. Pray for health and strength for all the staff as we get ready for our busy season. Adam Rhodes - I thank the Lord for His faithful provision of all my needs as I continue to serve Him here at WWBC. Pray for a good turnout, safety, and good weather during Work Week, which is at the first of the month. Be in prayer also for the Men’s Retreat at the end of the month, that it would be a time of spiritual refreshment and encouragement for all who come. Judy Saucedo - I praise God for my safe trip to Chicago for a visit with my granddaughters. Please pray that my Missouri state taxes will get mailed in good time. Pray for my work in the kitchen during Spring Teen Challenge and Work Week. Carlton & Laurinda Stayer - Praise for God’s provision in keeping our vehicles running. Praise for family and friends who support our ministry in prayer and through financial gifts. Pray for God’s provision in our family health with all the flu bugs going around. Pray for God’s continued provision in our finances with gas prices and living expenses what they are. Tom & Connie Winzer - We appreciate each one who had a part in Work Week! Many things were accomplished during the week. Please pray for Joel as he starts his job this month. Also, be in prayer for our Men’s Retreat on April 25-27. Melody Zink - I praise the Lord for the strength and stamina He gives day by day. Also, I praise God for a few men who replaced part on my sewer system recently. Pray concerning my financial support. Please continue in prayer for the nurses and other staff needed for camp 2008. Pray for our need of a General Director, Food Service Manager, and a Wilderness Program Director. |
