Opportunities for Prayer July
2008
Bob & Lola Ruth Clark - So many storms about us but God has protected us. He has provided ALL our needs. Pray that each of our staff would have health, strength, and endurance for the rigors of the summer. May HE find us all faithful to Him. Please pray that many campers will be saved and others will grow in their Christian life.
Lydia Erb - Praise the Lord that the Gospel is still the power of God unto salvation to all those who believe it (Romans 1:16). Pray that those we contact will accept God’s evaluation of the importance of His Word in their daily lives in spite of the day with its new age thinking.
Lancey & Mary Hudson - “Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! in Thy faithfulness answer me, and in Thy righteousness.” Psalms 143:1 Thank you, Lord, for our faithful supporters. Please pray for young people to be saved at the Bible Impact Camps and in DVBS. Pray also to know and do God’s will daily.
Juan & Emily Kononovas - We are praising the Lord for great weeks of camp so far this summer. Some campers received the gift of salvation! PTL! Please pray as the campers go home that they will continue living for the Lord. Continue praying for strength and stamina for all the staff.
Tim and Melissa Kornbau - We praise the Lord for all the kids coming to camp this summer and that attendance is good this year. Continue to pray that kids will get saved and others will make life-changing decisions at camp. Pray for strength for all of the staff as we continue to work longer hours in the heat of summer.
Dustin & Melanie Millsap - We praise the Lord for the camp crew and summer staff and the good work they are doing. We really enjoy having Julia available to watch the kids so Melanie can help with snack shop and cleaning with the camp crew.
Jay & Rose Penner - We praise the Lord for good camps already completed. We also praise the Lord for the staff He has sent us for the summer activities. Breanne and Mattias spent a week at camp in June. Pray that the Lord will continue to speak to them about what they learned. Please continue to pray for Bible Impact Ministries as there are still positions to fill for staff.
Adam Rhodes - Praise the Lord that the summer camp season has started off good. Praise the Lord also for the good number of young people that have come and will be coming to camp this year. Please pray that all the staff would have the strength needed to do our jobs well all summer. Pray for safety for the staff and campers, that there would be no major injuries this summer.
Judy Saucedo - I praise God that my grandchildren were campers here for 2 weeks in June. Also, praise the Lord that my time in the kitchen has gone well. Pray for continued strength as I carry out my duties in the kitchen. Pray for all the campers who come each week, that they will accept Christ and grow in Him.
Carlton & Laurinda Stayer - Praise God for the results we have seen in camp thus far. Also, we praise the Lord for Zachary’s quick recovery from having 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Pray for wisdom in making our finances stretch further in today’s economy with much higher prices for many things. Please pray for strength for the summer.
Tom & Connie Winzer - Camp is almost half over. Please pray for the physical endurance we need to finish strong. Pray for Tom as he directs the 2nd week of Junior Wilderness this month and Connie as she cooks in the kitchen.
Melody Zink - I praise the Lord for the way He undertook for me as I was camp nurse for 2 weeks in June. Definitely a growing time in Him! Pray for each camper who was or will be here this summer, for the Lord’s continued working in their hearts and lives.
Summer Ministries Program Staff – Praise the Lord for these who have committed to working with us for the majority or all of the summer: Emily Chrisman, James Christensen, John Christensen, Joy Christensen, Andrew Coltrane, Ashley Dvorak, Kristin Dvorak, Danae Fountain, Dora Fountain, Aletha Friesen, Tyler Frederick, Jenna Georgeff, Monette Gerhardt, Anne Marie Gregory, Katie Jones, Kaleb Krahn, Jessica Miller, Traci Rhodes, Kendrick Rozelle, Andrew Stalcup, Tonya Toebbe, Mikala Tomash, Michael Wile, Jessi Wilson, and Sharon Wilson. Pray for their financial needs to be met and for them to remain focused on the ministry the Lord has given them for the summer. Please pray that all will be faithful and effective servants.
