Opportunities for Prayer June.
2008
Bob & Lola Ruth Clark - We’re thankful that God answers prayer - even in the little things. It was a joy to attend graduation at Calvary Bible College and to witness several of our memorizers receive their diplomas. Please pray for these young people as they go out into various ministries. Pray for God’s direct leading as some applications have been sent out to prospective full time staff for WWBC. Lydia Erb - Praise the Lord that DVBS time is here and that we have the eternal Word of God to present to young lives in this unstable world. Pray that children and young people (adults as well!) will recognize their need for salvation and will put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and then live as good examples of how Christians ought to live. Lancey & Mary Hudson - We praise the Lord for His working in young hearts and His blessing in these days. In addition we are thankful for His faithfulness and His goodness. Please pray with us for His working in the lives of young people. Pray for the Lord’s leading and His working in hearts with DVBS this summer. Juan & Emily Kononovas - We thank the Lord for the great group of teenagers and college students that He sent us this summer! We are looking forward to seeing what God will do at WWBC! Please pray for Juan as he has added responsibilities this summer, for Emily as she will be working in the office, and for Hannah as she will experience her first summer at camp! Tim and Melissa Kornbau - We praise the Lord that we could complete several projects around the house during the spring. As summer camp begins, we would covet your prayers - safety and strength for the staff, for the camp pastors and missionaries as they challenge the campers from God’s Word, and for the kids to make life-changing decisions. Dustin & Melanie Millsap - Praise that Kalya’s final, final court hearing will be on June 19. She will be legally 100% Millsap! Praise the Lord for the good group of summer staff. Pray that we will keep focused on the spiritual growth in our lives first of all so that God will be able to use us to impact campers’ lives and disciple our camp crew staff. Jay & Rose Penner - Camp is here. School is finished for Rose, Breanne, and Mattias and they are thankful for that. We are praising the Lord for the young people He is sending our way. Please pray for lives to be changed as they are ministered to through the summer months. Pray also for the Search Committee as they continue the search for a General Director for Bible Impact Ministries. Adam Rhodes - I thank the Lord for faithfully providing for all my needs and for giving me many extra blessings as well. Praise the Lord for all the young people that have come to work as Summer Staff this year. Please keep me in your prayers, pray that God would give me a good summer of ministry and that all my work would go well. Judy Saucedo - I praise God that the Men’s Retreats went well and for the Lord’s strength for me. Also, I praise Him for time spent with grandkids in May. Pray for safety as I make 2 trips to Chicago and back to pick up 2 grandkids for camp. Please pray for strength as my time in the kitchen begins. Carlton & Laurinda Stayer - Praise God for His provision for our family thus far this year. Praise the Lord for our family and what each one brings to the family. Pray for good results from this year’s camping season. Pray for our family’s financial needs. Tom & Connie Winzer - June 9th is the first day of camp. Please keep us in your prayers all summer. Pray for each camper to be open to God’s leading. Pray for the speakers, missionaries, and counselors to be used by God. Pray for strength, endurance, and teamwork for the staff. Our desire is to glorify God through our service this summer. Melody Zink - I praise the Lord for the way He meets my needs and is ever present with me. Pray for the Lord to work in the hearts and lives of the campers this summer and that the full time and summer staff will be diligent in their ministries. Please continue to pray for our need of a General Director, Food Service Manager, and a Wilderness Program Director. Summer Ministries Program Staff – Praise the Lord for these who have committed to working with us for the majority or all of the summer: Emily Chrisman, James Christensen, John Christensen, Joy Christensen, Andrew Coltrane, Ashley Dvorak, Kristin Dvorak, Danae Fountain, Dora Fountain, Aletha Friesen, Tyler Frederick, Jenna Georgeff, Monette Gerhardt, Anne Gregory, Katie Jones, Kaleb Krahn, Jessica Miller, Brittany Preshaw, Traci Rhodes, Kendrick Rozelle, Tonya Toebbe, Mikala Tomash, Michael Wile, Jessi Wilson, and Sharon Wilson. Pray for their financial needs to be met and for them to remain focused on the ministry the Lord has given them for the summer. Please pray that all will be faithful and effective servants. |
