Bob & Lola Ruth Clark - We rejoice at the newness of life all about us - which reminds us of the new life we have in Christ.  Our granddaughter is planning an outdoor wedding for May 24.  Would you pray with us for a lovely day?  Please continue to pray for a General Director, a Food Service Manager, and a Wilderness Camp Director.

Lydia Erb - Praise the Lord for DVBS weeks already scheduled.  Pray that the Lord will enable me to fulfill each DVBS week (or camp week) as scheduled.

Lancey & Mary Hudson - “In every thing give thanks. . .” I Thess. 18a.  Praise be to the Lord for young people in Bible Memory Club and for faithful workers.  Please pray for the Lord to work in the lives and hearts of young people.  Pray for His wisdom and leading in getting the lessons ready for DVBS and for many to be saved.

Juan & Emily Kononovas - We praise the Lord for each one of you who are keeping us in your prayers.  We thank the Lord that Hannah is doing well and that Emily is recovering.  We thank the Lord for the people we had for Spring Teen Challenge and Work week.  Please pray as the camp season gets here, that we will have all the needed staff.  Pray that God will work in the hearts of our full time staff, summer staff, and campers this summer.

Tim and Melissa Kornbau - We praise the Lord for safety during the many spring storms and flooding we had and are thankful for the warmer weather and beauty of spring.  Please pray for good health as we have had a lot of sickness in our family this year.  Pray also for all of the final preparations this month for summer camp.

Dustin & Melanie Millsap - Praise that Jason was able to finish up school in time to have a couple weeks of break before camp starts.  Pray for the summer staff as they go through orientation to prepare for the summer.  Pray for wisdom as we lead the camp crew and that we would keep our focus on God as we serve this summer.

Jay & Rose Penner - Spring is here with new growth and beauty which we praise God for.  We praise the Lord for safety, strength, and encouragement over the past month with work done, contacts made, and people we have visited.  Pray with us as camp season comes upon us that all staff needs will be met and projects done on time.  Pray for wisdom as Jay is Acting Director and the responsibilities that requires.

Adam Rhodes - I praise the Lord for the everyday grace that He gives to help me and for those of you who are a blessing and encouragement to me.  Please pray for the Summer Staff Orientation and all the other work that is going into the preparation for our Summer Camp Program.  Pray also that the Summer Staff needs would be met and that the Lord will bless those that come to serve here.

Judy Saucedo - I praise God for my time in the kitchen during Spring Teen Challenge and Work Week.  Also, praise the Lord that my taxes all got mailed in good time.  Pray for the Lord’s continued watchcare and strength as we start our summer orientation and camp season.  Please pray for safety in travel during a trip to Chicago and then back home.

Carlton & Laurinda Stayer -  Praise God that He is in control of the world situation.  Praise for the good number of campers already registered for camp this year.  Pray that the preparations for the upcoming camping season will be completed in a timely manner.  Please pray for a good end to the school year for Lindy and the children.

Tom & Connie Winzer - May will be a very busy month for our entire staff, as we do final preparations for camp.  Please pray for strength and good team work for all of us.  Zach finishes his school year at Frontier on the 8th.  Please pray for safety as he travels home.

Melody Zink - I praise the Lord for the way He meets all of my needs.  Pray concerning my financial support as I average about 55% each month.  Please continue in prayer for the nurses and other staff needed for camp 2008.  Pray for our need of a General Director, Food Service Manager, and a Wilderness Program Director.

Summer Ministries Program Staff – Praise the Lord for these who have committed to working with Whispering Winds for the majority or all of the summer: James Christensen, Joy Christensen, Andrew Coltrane, Danae Fountain, Dora Fountain, Aletha Friesen, Tyler Frederick, Jenna Georgeff, Katie Jones, Kaleb Krahn, Jessica Miller, Brittany Preshaw, Kendrick Rozelle, Tonya Toebbe, Mikala Tomash, Jessi Wilson, and Sharon Wilson.  Pray for their financial needs to be met and for them to remain focused on the ministry the Lord has given them for the summer.  Please pray for staff orientation as it begins May 25, that all may be prepared to be faithful and effective servants.
